Location: Fredericksburg, VA
Well established fire sprinkler contractor looking for a full-time Fire Sprinkler Service Tech to perform inspections, testing and repairs on water based fire sprinkler systems in VA, DC, MD metro areas.
Responsibilities:
– Perform inspections on wet, dry and pre-action fire sprinkler systems
– Read blue prints and diagrams related to installations
– Have own hand tools
– Perform repairs on fire sprinkler systems
– Maintain safe and clean work areas
– Use and care for personal protective equipment
– Follow established safety protocol and OSHA standards
– Maintain daily time records by job number
– Must be proficient in the use of computers and email
Experience & Skills Desired:
– Minimum of 2 years of experience testing inspection fire sprinkler system
– Work in a team environment
– Be able to work to deadlines with some OT
– Mechanical aptitude
– Ability to read, write and comprehend required
– Basic computer knowledge
– Detail oriented
– Clean driving record
– Communicate effectively with co-workers
